Best Western Weymouth Hotel Rembrandt

A pleasant visit overall, probably a 3 star experience. It was clean, and the setting was nice, with a swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna available. I believe there's a gym for outside members too. They do a reasonably priced Sunday carvery, and the beef and pork were excellent and locally sourced. There's on site parking, which is a serious bonus in summer. I'd be happy to visit again and recommend it.

The staff were the best part of our Christmas stay at he hotel rembrandt weymouth. They were professional, warm, and very helpful, and the hotel was spotless. We also enjoyed the bar and restaurant, and the food was an 8/10. The bed was a 10, though the shower was only a 5: the pressure could be stronger and it needs another shelf. We paid £700 for an executive room, but the extra cost didn't bring any real perks. You can still pay an optional £25 a day to add things to the room, and room service costs extra. The TV felt old, with only regular channels and no way to cast from a phone or tablet. The lamp flickered, too. There was no secure Wi-Fi, and I would gladly have paid another £2 a night for it. The plug sockets were low down behind the bedside table. That's a small issue for many, but with sciatica I found it hard to move the table and bend down. Modern rooms usually put them higher, beside the bed. The spa booking process was confusing for me as someone with a mental disability. You can't book through reception or online, and I was also being redirected to arrange Christmas dinner. With all the confusion, we missed dinner and couldn't get into the spa. When bad weather, illness, or Christmas keeps you in the room, the dated tech and lack of secure internet really matter. For less money, I'd choose somewhere with those basics. I'd come back only if nowhere else was available.

The pool was warm, and we could sit at the bar with a drink while keeping an eye on the girls swimming. They had a great time here. We also found the food quite good, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. A lovely family stay in Weymouth.

The restaurant food was excellent and there was plenty of it. Breakfast was great too. Big thanks to the chef and Mike for all their hard work, and to the cleaners for doing such an amazing job. Everyone was so friendly. Another perfect stay for us. 😁
