The drinks were fairly priced, service was good, and there's a pool table and the usual sort of things. It's close to the train station and seafront. I'd passed by many times before popping in on a Saturday afternoon. It was busy enough and not a bad pub.

Just a short walk from the beach, with very good prices and cheerful service. This is a no-frills, spit-and-sawdust pub, and it doesn't pretend otherwise. Sometimes all the bells and whistles in other pubs just get in the way of a good, honest pint.
