I'm a tradesman, and this doesn't feel like a good living space. The owners are tight as hell, don't appreciate quality workmanship and avoid advice. Seems to me it's all about the money. I'd avoid it if I were you, and I'll never visit again.

We enjoyed our stay, and the location was perfect, close to the town centre with easy access to the beach and harbour. Our room was fine and had what we needed for five nights. Check-in was simple, with clear instructions for getting the keys from the key box. The owner seemed lovely over messages and was happy to answer questions, though we didn't see or meet any staff in person. The main issue was that the room wasn't cleaned during our stay, and we weren't given fresh towels. Toiletries were available to help yourself to on the second or third floor, which was fine, but the room still could have used a clean and fresh towels would have been nice. I'm not sure if this was a one-off, perhaps the cleaner was on holiday or something, as we didn't ask. Otherwise, a nice hotel.

We’d stayed here before it was taken over, and it had been great. This time it was awful. When we first went in, there was urine in the toilet. I called to complain, and they said it was bleach, what! There was loads of toilet paper too. Please spend your money on something better.

The location was a real plus, with a great view over the harbour and the quay and beach nearby. The rooms are lovely, nicely done out, and we had a fantastic breakfast. The lady who owns it was very nice to us. There are only three parking permits, so get there early if you want one. My fiance and I will 100% return.

It was a relief when the stay was over. The attic room was depressing and very small, with dead flies on the lamp, a tiny window with a filthy sill, and old-fashioned brown furniture. We paid the full rate for this, with no breakfast and no contact with the owners. All we were given was bottled water and awful sachets of Nescafé coffee. This was in September 2020, and it was the worst B&B we’ve ever stayed in. There was no breakfast at all, so I can't comment on it. We went to a nearby cafe for something to eat, then had to wait outside in the cold drizzle for a table. Worst visit to Weymouth we’ve ever had.
