We had a lovely week at Elysium House with our children and my partner. It was spotless, well equipped and made a great base for exploring Whitby, with the harbour just a short walk away. We also really enjoyed the views. Thanks to the friendly hosts for making the stay so enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back.

We’d happily come back to this holiday let. It’s modern, clean and spacious, and the location is ideal: about five minutes on foot from central Whitby harbour, but just far enough out to escape the crowds. I’d recommend it. Top notch!

We spent three nights at Elysium house and had no complaints. It was clean, cosy and comfortable, with lovely big bedrooms and really comfy beds. The real fire was a bonus on the chilly nights, and having a loo downstairs was handy. Just a couple of small suggestions: egg cups would be useful, and another lidded pan would help, as there was only one. Can’t wait to come back, thank you.

A clean, well equipped house and an easy walk to the harbour. We stayed for two nights as a family and had a fantastic time. I’d recommend it for families, including those with younger children.

The repeated noise from drunken guests is making life miserable for local residents. I’m regularly woken by people shouting and slamming doors, and it happened again last night. The owners and letting agent don’t seem to care about the neighbourhood or the residents who have to put up with this. If it were my property and neighbours kept complaining about the guests’ behaviour and threatening police and council action, I’d do something about it. They’re making money while making the locals miserable.
