Chris & Faye made us feel very welcome and went out of their way to make our stay special. Room number 4 was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was superb. We came back from two nights at The Haven Crest and will definitely stay again. It's now our first choice for a bed and breakfast. It's a comfortable 20-minute walk into the centre, and we thought it was well worth it since staying in town can be a bit much. Highly recommend it. Thanks, Chris & Faye.

We enjoyed the 20-minute walk into town and the 30-minute walk to the Abbey ruins. The location suited us, and we'd gladly return to the Haven Crest. There's a great pub, the White House, across the road on the edge of a golf course. Chris & Fay were welcoming, accommodating and friendly. Chris helped me out when I had an accident with my glasses, which was much appreciated. Breakfast was great, with cereals, fruit and a full English to choose from. The shower itself was faultless, though getting in and out could be difficult for a larger person. It wasn't a problem for either my wife or me. Our room 3 could also have used a small fridge.

The walk into the town centre is really nice, and the hosts were warm and friendly. The place was clean and tidy, and breakfast was fantastic. Honestly, it's the best place we've stayed in Whitby. I can't think of a single negative and would highly recommend it. We really enjoyed our stay.

We've kept coming back to this hidden gem. The beds are super comfy, and Chris & Fay are friendly and helpful, always happy to do whatever they can. Breakfast is amazing, with plenty to choose from and lovely locally sourced produce. Fabulous location. Excellent.

A quiet residential spot with parking on site, a great pub across the road and a lovely walk into town. We took the 20-minute route along the cliffs, and there's a longer stroll to Sandsend too. Our overnight stay was fantastic: the hosts were welcoming and helpful, everything was spotless, and breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Highly recommended, even with the extra walk into town.
