The apartment was very well equipped, nicely decorated and had a lovely bathroom. The underground parking was secure and great. The carpet was a bit grubby, as was the kitchen, and the oven and handles needed a good scrub because they felt sticky. It's well placed for getting into town, but the street itself is rather run down, with weeds, overgrown bushes and bags of rubbish that need clearing. That's nothing the vendor can do, but it's worth bearing in mind for a stay that wasn't cheap.

The parking was handy, and there were plenty of mirrors and hooks. The shower was excellent too. The kitchen needed a proper clean, though, and we had to oil the squeaky doors.

We’d happily stay here again when we’re in Whitby. The town centre is only about five minutes away, and there’s a large parking space underneath. The apartment had everything we needed, including tea, coffee and kitchen basics, with spacious rooms. The bed felt a bit hard to me, but that’s personal preference and probably fine for most people.

Steve and Christine had everything covered, even WiFi! The place was clean, tidy and had all we needed. Absolutely brilliant, definitely a place to stay.
