A quiet residential spot, and the walk into town took about 10-15 minutes. The house was lovely, clean and tidy, with easy parking. There’s no seating in the outside area, but the big fridge-freezer, cooking equipment, dishwasher and dining table for six were all useful. It made our rainy stay feel cosy.

The beds were large and comfortable, and it’s an easy walk into town. The place has pleasant decor after a recent refurbishment, plus a large fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. On arrival, though, the toilet was very dirty and the microwave hadn’t been cleaned.

We’d booked four nights from 26th July, and the booking was confirmed. My wife, daughter and I had taken time off work and told the grandkids we were taking them away. Then, a week later, an email said they’d double-booked us and hoped it wasn’t an inconvenience. Well, it was. If that’s how you run a business, good luck, you’ll need it.
