We’d never stayed in Silloth before, and Marsh Villa turned out to be a wonderful place to stay. The owners have thought of everything. It’s right by the beach, and if you’re after peace and quiet, you’ll find that here too. We enjoyed our stay, just as others before us have, and would highly recommend Marsh villa.

There were wood lice all over the surfaces, and I found one in my daughter’s bed. We sent the owners multiple photos showing them in every room, with literally hundreds appearing during our week-long stay. Their response was, “expect wildlife”. This was our second visit, and the property had been excellent the first time. Please deal with the pest problem instead of gaslighting renters.

The birdlife kept us absorbed, and hares were running about in the marsh right outside the cottage. The scenery was spectacular. We spent a week here with family and found the place spotless, comfortable, and very well equipped.

The welcome pack was a nice touch, and the house was lovely and clean.
