Hannah's Bed and Breakfast

The place itself is pretty, but this shared accommodation experience got tense for no good reason. I was there as a bridesmaid, and the bride was already stressed. The owner had new guests arriving for other rooms and wanted their luggage left in the main room, apparently as a favour since they hadn’t paid like we had. We were in the common room doing our makeup because the rooms just didn’t have enough light. We couldn’t move, so we used the shared space we’d paid for. When the cleaner came in, she couldn’t clean the kitchen around us. We said we needed a little more time and offered to clean up ourselves, but the situation became tense with the owner on the phone. It’s their business, I understand that, but they could have been kinder to a bride on her wedding day. In the end it all went well, the bride looked stunning, and that’s what matters. Pretty place overall, but understanding and good communication make for happy customers. Food for thought.

We had a wonderful family stay in this beautiful place. It’s spacious, carefully designed, and well equipped, right in the middle of Winchester with easy access to the twin centre. We stayed in two of the three rooms, and the shared space worked really well. Everything was clean and thoughtfully supplied with eggs, milk, bread, coffee, tea, and more. We’ll definitely be back.

Two Bare Feet was light, comfortable, and perfectly located in Winchester, and the stay went well beyond what we expected. The place has been thoughtfully set up for guests, with nothing missing. Out of the five places we stayed in on this UK trip, it was the only one that provided both facecloths and robes. A small extra, but I loved it. I can’t recommend it highly enough. Two Bare Feet has set the standard for our future self-catering stays. Thank you!

Warm, comfortable room with a cosy feel, and it was clean and tidy. Great to see eco products being used. The place is quirky too, with a different design in every room. It was a really pleasant stay in the waiting room.
