I try to stay here whenever work takes me to Andover. It’s convenient and reasonably priced, and easy to reach just past the A303 junction on the A34 south, with the hotel in the service area. Leaving is straightforward too, via the access road at the back of the services to get back to the A303.

The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was large. It’s a dog-friendly hotel with lots of green space, close to a garage, Costa and McDonald's. The decor is dated, but we slept well and would use it again because it met our needs and was priced just right. Thanks to the staff.

The room was clean, the beds comfortable and the staff friendly. It does what you need it to do. The rooms are very dated, though, and look like Travelodge rooms from the mid-1990s that haven’t really changed. I didn’t know rooms like this still existed.

After staying at the other Days Inn just up the road, which was quite possibly the worst place I’ve stayed, I was pleasantly surprised by the difference here. It’s basic, but clean and has what you need for a comfortable night. The reception staff were pleasant.

The bathroom was falling apart and the place was a bit shabby, though reasonably clean. The bed was quite high. For the price, I wasn’t expecting the Ritz.
