Allyson made us a lovely breakfast in the morning, and the village was a great base, with easy access to amenities like a pub, shop and bus stop. My friend and I stayed in the clean, cosy twin room to visit the nearby Winchester market. We'd happily stay again, thanks :)

Breakfast was spot on, and the welcome was warm and everything well organised. It's a handy base for visiting Winchester, with quite a few things to do nearby. Well worth the money.

I don't normally write reviews, but this really got to me. The staff were rude and wouldn't be flexible about check-in. We tried to fit around their strict hours, but were aggressively told to go away even though we were polite. A policy this inconvenient needs to be clearly stated on the website. I imagine Will Stott had a similar experience.
