The hot tub was perfect, no complaints there, and the reception team were warm and friendly. The location is handy too, with pubs and the harbour within walking distance and lots of scenic routes nearby. The room was mostly clean, though there was mould around the sink plughole that came off with a quick scratch, so it didn't seem to have been cleaned properly. The duvet felt unbelievably heavy and was a real struggle to pull up. We booked a room advertised as self-catering, but there was only a kettle, so preparing food wasn't really possible. A lot of food ended up wasted because of that. It should be listed as room only. For what we got, I found it fairly overpriced, and the room could have used a more thorough scrub. Three stars.

The suite was spacious, comfortable, and felt properly luxurious. Breakfast was delicious, and everything in the room was spotless and well equipped. It was also an easy stroll to the lake and local restaurants. Our apartment was in a separate building, but just a short walk away, which was no problem for us. The internet wasn't working during our visit. Management couldn't sort it out straight away, but handled it professionally and offered a discount for a future stay as a goodwill gesture. One small thing: plastic rose petals felt out of place in such a high-end setting. Real ones would suit it better. We had a fantastic stay.

We loved the Garden Suite, especially its private garden and stunning views. The room also had a hot tub, sauna, bath, log fire, and two TVs, while the shower room was like a little spa of its own. We didn't feel we needed to book anything else. The minibar was complimentary and could be refilled on request, and the staff were very helpful. Great service throughout, and we'd highly recommend it.

We had such a relaxing time here for our 10 year anniversary and are already thinking about coming back to try another room. The garden jacuzzi sits under cover with lights above it at night, and it felt very private. Inside, the room was inviting and comfortable, with a lovely setup, a comfy bed and couch, and a fireplace as the centrepiece. There was also a mini fridge with bottled water, plus a TV with lots to watch, including Netflix and Disney+. The bathroom was big, with a powerful shower and a jacuzzi bath with its own TV. It was lovely to unwind in before bed. The woman at reception was welcoming, gave us recommendations we liked, and reassured us that help was only a phone call away. Just one small timing issue: the jacuzzi was available from 9:30, but checkout was 10:30 and it was self-cleaning from 10:30pm to 9:30am, so there wasn't really time for us to use it before leaving. We'll definitely be back and recommend it. Thanks for making our break so special.
