Liz and Graham were such kind, thoughtful hosts at Brook House when we visited in October 2025. They were the warmest and most gracious people we met during our time in the UK. We were there in peak season, but the weather was disappointing. Liz suggested things we could still do in the rain, which helped us have a lovely time. We didn't have a car, and they kindly drove us to our destination twice. We'd travelled a long way and had poor weather, and they showed us even more care and consideration. We're sincerely grateful for their kindness and hospitality. We'd love to return to Windermere and will absolutely stay at Brook House again.

Breakfast was the real highlight for us: we picked what we wanted the day before, along with a time, and there was cereal, fruit, yoghurt, juice, toast and a full cooked option with sausages from the local butcher. It set us up for the day. Liz also shared plenty of local advice, including places to eat she and Graham had tried themselves. We stayed two nights at Brook House and were happy with everything. Liz and Graham gave us a lovely welcome, there was off-road parking, our room had all we needed, and the whole place was spotless. 😁

We'd happily return to Brook House in a heartbeat. The beds were really comfortable, the rooms immaculate, and breakfast was so tasty. Liz & Graham made us feel very welcome, and we had the best weekend. Thank you both so much! ❤️

The walking routes Liz gave us directions for were all easy to reach on foot, and Brook House itself is just a short stroll from the Main Street. Our rooms were spotless and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious each morning. Liz and Graham were exceptional hosts. We loved our stay and can see why so many guests keep coming back. Highly recommended.

Graham's poached eggs are the breakfast highlight for my husband. We love staying at Brook House, with its lovely rooms and great location. Liz & Graham are fantastic hosts.
