Just four steps from Windermere's main street, this cottage is wonderfully placed and still quiet enough to relax. We had a brilliant couple of nights with friends. It was clean, tidy and had everything for a comfortable stay. The bedrooms were comfortable, one double and one twin, and the bathroom was a good size with a strong shower.

For being right in the centre of Windermere, with food and pubs close by, this is a good choice. The cottage is clean and simple, and looks like it’s had a bit of a spruce-up. I think it would feel especially cosy for a winter break.

The place was lovely and clean, and the bathroom was nice. There’s no courtyard to sit in, though, and the beds need replacing, with new mattresses.

We've already booked to come back, can’t wait! It’s a lovely home from home in an excellent location 😊
