Having a parking space for one car was much appreciated in Windermere. The apartment was fabulous, very modern, well equipped and exceptionally clean.

Please think twice before booking this appartment. I booked it for my wife's birthday, but the shower was broken. When I contacted the host, they said there was nothing they could do. They promised me a full refund and a complimentary stay, but I've been chasing them all week without getting a reply. Unfortunately, I'll have to go down the small claims route to get my money back. Save yourself the heartache and book somewhere else.

We booked the luxury room with the 70 mq terrace six months ahead, and planned our UK trip around enjoying it. Instead, we were given a tiny 20 mq room in the basement. It feels really unfair to be told the room we reserved wasn't available.

The apartment was just what we needed for our two nights. Thanks for upgrading us, it made an already lovely stay even better. We'd happily come back.

The price was very good for the size and standard of the place. We stayed in apartment No1, though, and both mornings the people upstairs woke us around 8am as they walked about for roughly an hour. Because of that, I wouldn't return to that apartment.
