Mercure Bristol North The Grange Hotel

Anastasia made breakfast feel extra special with her smile and the way she went the extra mile. She was kind, sweet and professional. The breakfast was fantastic already, and the rest of the stay was lovely too, with a fab room, a great location and friendly staff. Beautiful hotel. Thank you for a perfect stay, we’ll be back.

The countryside around the hotel is stunning, and at night there’s nothing to hear but birds. It’s peaceful for sleeping, while still close enough to get an Uber into the city and handy for the main roads. We got a warm welcome at reception, which really stood out since good service can be hard to find these days. Our room was huge and very clean, and the bed was super comfy. The location had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We only ate breakfast in the restaurant, but there was a great selection to get the day started.

Dinner was lovely, though a couple of customers had a fairly loud political debate that broke up the meal a bit. Daisy was attentive and very polite, even with that table making so much noise. I was ready to send them to their corners myself! Thanks to Daisy and the staff. I’m looking forward to breakfast. And the room was a delight to walk into, much bigger than I’d expected.

I’m visiting during Ramadan, and the team kindly went out of their way to make me an early breakfast. That thoughtful gesture really touched me. Everyone has been friendly and welcoming, always happy to help and making me feel at home. The hotel is clean and comfortable, with beautiful, calming surroundings, and it was easy to find when I arrived. I check out tomorrow, but I’ve already had a really pleasant, relaxing stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!
