The tents are cosy and inviting, with good equipment, and the outdoor seating by each fire pit is a nice extra. The site is peaceful, with lovely places to walk and explore. Its trees and surroundings are beautifully preserved, including some very old willow trees. The toilets, showers, and communal spaces were all really well cared for, and the location is just as beautiful as when I first stayed seven years ago. This lovely site is owned and run by a couple, and I highly recommend it.

The showers were hot, powerful, and so clean they only come second to a spa day. We also had a fridge for every two tents, with plenty of room for food and milk. There were enough logs for a couple of days, a bag of BBQ coal, and even a heater. Both the bed and extra camp beds were very comfortable, and the facilities were impeccable with everything we needed. Best glamping we've been to yet. Hats off to the owners for creating something wonderful.
We stayed in a cottage, not a glamping pod, and it was just right for two people. Comfortable, nicely furnished, and equipped with everything needed to cook meals. We liked the location outside Oxford, with nearby bus stops offering easy rides to Oxford one way and Witney the other, so there was no need to take the car. The outlook on the River Thames was very pretty. There were quite a lot of guests, so there was a bit of noise, and some came from the adjacent road. Nothing major, and the road also gives good links to Oxford. WiFi was patchy, and there was a slight damp smell downstairs. It wasn't a big problem, as there were plenty of windows to open and air the house.
I chose an Airbnb on the same estate rather than one of the glamping tents. Both the tents and the Airbnb are close to Eynsham. My Airbnb was a coach house attached to the main house, a quaint little one-up, one-down cottage with everything a solo traveller or couple might need. Eynsham is in Oxfordshire, just west of Oxford. It's not officially in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, but it's nearby and has a similar rural feel, with historic buildings and a picturesque village. I had already explored the village, so I walked along the River Thames to Eynsham Lock today. The scenery was lovely and the walk was an easy one. My hosts, Chris and Sue, have made a wonderful place to stay. For accommodation in Oxfordshire near the Cotswolds, I'd highly recommend this beautiful spot.
The site felt safe for the little ones to run about, and with only around 10 tents, each set out to give people privacy. We had three tents for our group of six adults and six children, and everyone had a brilliant short break. The grounds are lovely and peaceful, with the river and Talbot inn an easy walk away. We had a nice meal there one evening. The tents were clean and comfortable, and all the facilities were spotless and well equipped. We were lucky with two lovely days of weather too. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you! ☺️
