Cottage 2 New Yatt Farm

Cottage 2 had this old barn-style wood joinery that looked so cool, but it never made the place feel like a stable. The bathroom surprised me too, with lots of space for a cottage and a refreshing shower with good pressure. Outside, there was lovely scenery, old farm buildings, and a sense of history. It's a pet-friendly place, tucked away in the countryside, quiet and relaxing for a long weekend. Great walking nearby, and restaurants and pubs are close enough to walk to. I'll recommend it to friends.

A lovely cottage in a great area for hikes.

We came with three groups of friends and our young kids during the school holidays, and had the most amazing time making memories together. New Yatt is a real wow, huge and full of character, yet modern, with a spectacular kitchen and loads of room so we weren't on top of each other. It was stocked with everything we needed, and the complimentary food hamper was a lovely bonus. The children loved the field, where we spotted deer and wild rabbits, as well as the goal nets, table tennis, and pool. For the adults, the outdoor seating, bigger-than-expected hot tub, and massive fire pit made late meals and drinks great fun. I don't usually return to the same place, but I'm already looking to book another stay.

We had such a brilliant stay last April for my MiL's 70th birthday. The house and setting are stunning, with loads of space and everything we needed. The details were lovely too, from the huge towels to the really good beds. We'd all love to return. Thank you!
