The accommodation was clean and brilliant, in a quiet courtyard, and the breakfast was hot and delicious. We chose this place to visit farmers dog and diddly squat farm/shop, and it was ideally located midway between the two. The staff were delightful, friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome. Check-in and check-out were easy and relaxed. We’ll definitely be back. Well done to the team, it was a real pleasure to stay.

We stayed two nights at the Bird In Hand and had dinner in the restaurant on site both evenings. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were helpful and friendly. It’s a gorgeous inn in a stunning location, with a cozy feel. Our room was comfortable and well equipped, and all rooms have en suites. We hope to return!

The room was the real gem, clean and spacious, and I felt comfortable in it. I loved the things provided there, apart from finding a lone hair on the kettle. The alarm in the room went off twice, and it was VERY loud. There was no smoke amywhere, and honestly I’m not sure if it’s a smoke detector or something else. This place gets 5 stars from me.

The food was faultless, with generous portions at a reasonable price, and we all noticed plenty of thoughtful little touches. I came with five others for an evening meal to celebrate my 70th birthday. The staff were friendly and professional throughout, and nothing felt like too much trouble. I’ll definitely do it again and highly recommend it.

We had to cancel at short notice, and they were incredibly kind about it. We really appreciate how thoughtful they were. Hopefully we can come back. If the place is even half as good as the service, we’re in for a treat. Thank you 🙏
