Made In Sud

The room was spacious, although some of the finish was rough. A very polite waitress showed me to it, but another waiter handled payment and seemed polite only until I asked for an iron. He said this wasn’t a hotel and that the iron would cost 10 pounds. It came with an ironing board covered by a dirty folded sheet, which wasn’t impressive. Fortunately, no one asked me to pay for the iron in the morning, since I wasn’t going to. Poor service means I wouldn’t stay again.

For the price, right in Woking centre, it’s brilliant. The rooms were very clean and tidy, and picking up the key was easy. There’s a convenient restaurant next door serving lovely food. Single rooms are small, but cosy. It is very noisy, though, with the train station just across from the hotel.

The location is central and the rooms have fresh decor, though they’re bare. Wi-Fi was nonexistent. The bedrooms are very noisy because they’re above a bar, and the description doesn’t mention that.

The staff were friendly and courteous, and the room was great, with daily cleaning and fresh bedding and towels. I came from Australia to Woking and stayed at made in sud B&B. I’d highly recommend it and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
