Premier Inn Wokingham Town Centre

We’ve been back three times now, and the family rooms have always been clean, roomy, and comfortably air conditioned. The staff are lovely with families. Luke, his lovely mum and Sahar were especially kind to our young family. There’s plenty nearby too, including a large Aldi, a children’s play park, cinema and cafes, plus a recently built leisure centre across the road with a gym, pool and soft play. Can’t wait to come back.

The cooked breakfast was disappointing, which is why I stopped short of giving five stars. Still, I’d stay here again if I’m in Wokingham. The hotel was clean and quiet, and the price for one night was good. The reception staff member was exceptionally polite and helpful, managing check-in, getting us into the toilets and working behind the bar all at once. He couldn’t have done more for us.

We had car trouble during a long trip and had to book a room at the last minute. The price was excellent and included buffet breakfast. Staff were cheerful, helpful and full of useful information. The food was pleasant, and although breakfast is fairly basic compared with some places, it was still good value at £8. There are also à la carte options. Parking is in the multi-storey across the road, free from 6pm till 9am. It gets a bit expensive outside those hours, though that’s not the hotel’s fault.

The room was quiet, comfortable and clean, and I slept well on the bed with its great pillow. Dinner and breakfast are available, and service was quick. The staff were lovely and made me feel at ease. That’s all I need for a good stay.
