You should know this is a converted house, not a purpose-built guest house, and the stairs are very steep, which may not suit everyone. Noise carries easily between rooms. We could hear other guests late at night and early in the morning, and water dripping through the ceiling whenever the upstairs bathroom was used. The bathroom needs attention: the shower gel had clearly been used, there was spillage on the radiator and wall, and damp patches beside and above the window. The shower head was damaged and leaking, the sealant needs a proper clean, a tile was cracked and the toilet seat wasn't fitted properly. The toilet is so close to the bath that it's uncomfortable to use if you're over about 5'2". Our stay fell short because of the cleanliness, comfort and maintenance. The place needs deeper cleaning and better upkeep, and guests should be told more clearly about its limitations before booking.
