The garden was lovely even in winter, and I’d love to see it in full summer. The cottage itself was cosy and warm, with a great shower and everything we needed. Thoughtful details like a proper cafetiere and vinegar for our chips made a difference. We had a peaceful break in the countryside, while still being close enough to the M54 to explore the area. There was a lovely pub just a short walk away, and plenty of space right outside for walks with our dog. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, and made us feel welcome straight away. A perfect stay in this beautiful self-catering place. We’d definitely come back, 100% recommended!

The area is so quiet that it’s hard to believe Wolverhampton, where we visit family, is so close. It’s a peaceful place to come back to. This time we stayed in the Haywain self-catering appartment at Boningale Manor, and, as before, Bob & Paul were friendly and welcoming hosts. The accommodation is first class, with a comfortable lounge, dining and kitchen area that’s well equipped. The bedroom was the highlight for me, with a very comfortable bed and lovely quality linen. There’s also a separate shower room. Thank you!

I’m looking forward to coming back. Bob is such a warm, friendly host and goes out of his way to make sure you’re comfortable and happy. The accommodation is super, especially for more than reasonable prices. The bedding was lush, and the herbal tea tray was just what I needed when I was feeling a bit off colour. Breakfast was relaxed, with homemade bread and top quality local produce.

A comfortable place that works for a short visit or a longer stay. The owners are very friendly, and it’s in a quiet location.

I loved my room and its spacious bathroom, especially the proper size bath, and the bed was so comfortable. The garden views were lovely too. I stayed for 3 weeks and really enjoyed it. Bob, Christina and Paul were so friendly, and they made Harry, my cat, AKA ,The man in black, and me feel very welcome. I hadn’t expected such hospitality. I don’t know where to start with the breakfasts. They were delicious, Bob is a marvel in the kitchen, and his homemade bread was out of this world, with a different kind each day. I enjoyed learning about the history of Boningale Manor and will miss it very much. My only downside is that after all that delicious food, I need to go on a diet! Mia Culpa, nobody force-fed me, I just couldn’t resist. Thank you so much, Bob, Christina and Paul.
