Premier Inn Wolverhampton North

I spent four nights here for work, and slept well despite the hotel being surrounded by main roads. The room was spotless, meals at the Beefeater were brilliant, and every staff member was friendly and professional. It’s a great Premier Inn with a Beefeater attached. My only gripes: there was no bedside USB charging, and when I tried to check in at 14.55, I was told I had to wait until exactly 15.00 or pay a £15 early check-in fee. Other Premier Inns haven’t made me do that, so I felt like a berk standing at reception for five minutes.

The Beefeater next door was a bright spot: a good menu, pleasant and helpful staff, and well-cooked food that arrived without a long wait. The hotel itself is handy for the motorways and A roads, and I’d stay again when working nearby. The room was clean enough, with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom, though the furnishings felt dated and sparse. The TV was okay but, as usual, had limited content. It’s somewhere to sleep while working away rather than a place you’d choose as a destination, and the hotel isn’t pretending otherwise.

This was better than I expected from a Premier Inn, and I stay in plenty of them. The room was clean and well kept, and the staff were polite and helpful. There’s a working Beefeater on site, which many locations don’t have, plus other places to eat within walking distance. The car park is a good size and easy to reach from the motorway and A roads, with convenient access to Wolverhampton and elsewhere.

We slept really comfortably in a clean, spacious room. The food was amazing, and the service felt pleasant and welcoming, with everything presented nicely. A brilliant experience, thank you.
