Ashwood Shepherd Hut

The cabin was beautiful, spotless and peaceful, with everything we needed for a few nights away. We went for an overnight anniversary stay and found the outside bar and seating area had amazing views. I also liked how private it felt, with the keys waiting for us when we arrived, so there was no need to check in with anyone. The little honesty tuck shop had some lovely treats at very reasonable prices. There was tea, coffee and sugar, but no milk, which was my one small preference. I’d forgotten to bring my own, as I usually take Yorkshire tea bags because that’s the tea I like. A place to keep ice cubes would also have been nice, since there are fridges for drinks and I like ice in mine. Still, I’d 100000000% stay again and recommend it to everyone. Such a lovely place, I’ll definitely return.
