The food was delicious and well priced, and we were pleased enough to consider returning for the Christmas menu. We had Sunday lunch here on May 24th, at a table for six. I'd booked online in advance and confirmed the booking online two days beforehand, but when we arrived they had no record of it. That was briefly frustrating, though I had my email confirmation and the staff found us a table straight away. It was all sorted quickly and efficiently, and these IT gremlins happen. We sat in the conservatory. It was fine for most of the meal, though it got a bit sticky near the end. The restaurant couldn't do much about the mini heatwave. Staff were really attentive. It's a beautiful riverside spot, with a small car park on site and plenty of public car parks a 5-10 minute walk away. There are two-course and three-course options.

The sandwiches and cakes were delicious, and the scones with jam and clotted cream were excellent. We had afternoon tea in the dining room, with a lovely river view, and the service was friendly and efficient. I'll definitely come back in the summer to try the lunch menu.

Megan listened to what we wanted from the moment we met her and delivered on everything. It took us ages to find a venue that allowed for personal touches, since so many places only offered the typical wedding package. We got married at Diglis in July and are finally getting around to writing this review. We had nearly 90 guests at the reception, and many stayed overnight in the hotel. The rooms are beautiful, though in summer we missed having air conditioning. Fans were provided and helped. The food was incredible, and the chefs deserve five stars. My parents and I had lunch there the previous Christmas and already felt we were in safe hands. For the wedding, we had a simple pork roast with sides, desserts, and an evening buffet, all mouth-watering. One chef made his own chilli sauce for our chilli-loving family, a thoughtful touch that meant a lot. The day ran seamlessly, with no drama and everything going to plan. The staff even joined in by painting their faces with glitter for our festival-themed wedding, a memory we'll treasure. Diglis is close to train stations and public transport, which is useful for guests if the hotel parking is full. A few nice touches we saw elsewhere that could work for future weddings: a happy hour with two-for-one drinks, cocktails in the Seymour Suite, a printed drinks menu, and a reserved parking space for the Bride & Groom. Diglis gave us the personalised, joyful wedding we dreamed of, and we're so grateful to Megan and the team.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with a fantastic range and great quality, and Friday night fish and chips are a must, fresh, generous, and perfectly cooked. It's a lovely riverside stay, with beautiful views that made things feel relaxed straight away. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive. The new owners are renovating the hotel at the moment. That didn't affect our stay, though I would have appreciated being told in advance. We had a very enjoyable visit and would happily return.

I live locally and used to avoid this place because the staff were inefficient, the food was poor, and it didn't feel welcoming. Since the new owners took over, it's been completely transformed. The food is superb, the staff are professional and friendly, and the interior has improved a lot. Outside, the landscaping is beautiful. It's a wonderful spot right on the Severn, and it'll now be my go-to. Well done, everyone. You deserve great success for turning the place around.
