Sue went out of her way to make sure we had a perfect stay. Nothing was too much trouble for our host. The room was very comfortable, with lovely garden views, and there was a tea and coffee tray with fresh cold milk. We could relax in the lounge, and the smiling hostess served an excellent breakfast. She also gave us an access key so we could come and go easily once settled. I’d definitely recommend it for families and business stays.

My sister and I had such a lovely time at The Rag House. Sue gave us a warm welcome that lasted throughout our stay, and we look forward to returning. The rooms are comfortable and furnished to a high standard, and the house sits beautifully in lovely gardens. Breakfast was plentiful, cooked to order, and absolutely gorgeous. The location is great, with everything you need within walking distance. We highly recommend The Rag House, you won’t be disappointed. Helen and Cheryl xx

I’ve stayed in a lot of B&Bs, and this is probably the best. Sue was a charming host and went out of her way to help whenever she could. From the warm welcome to the goodbye, nothing felt like too much trouble. If you can’t see what you want, just ask. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone.

Sue noticed I was vegan from my booking and called straight away to talk it through. She then bought suitable products for me, which made it clear that nothing was too much trouble. It’s a lovely house, with classically decorated rooms and good-quality touches everywhere, from the fluffy towels to the teddy bears on the landing.

Sue was a wonderful host, and we really appreciated her welcome and attention. We stayed two nights in a lovely king-size en suite room, with beautiful decor. The garden was lovely too, with a long sloping lawn and even a robot lawn mower cutting the grass. Many thanks from Marcus & Norita Roberts.
