The bed was really comfortable, and the room was nicely decorated and quiet. Workington House is spotless and well kept, and it’s run by a lovely couple. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice, and nothing felt like too much trouble. Had a great stay, thank you!

The owners were so welcoming and friendly, and we’ll definitely come back and recommend it to friends and family. The rooms were spotless, the beds comfortable, and breakfast had a great choice. A lovely B & B, thanks, and keep up the good work :)

The accommodation was fab, and the hosts couldn’t do enough for us. Workington House Bed and Breakfast is ideally placed as a base for exploring the Lake District. We had a fantastic time and would definitely stay again.

The homemade flapjack in the room was a much better touch than bland hotel biscuits. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed. We got a warm welcome along with useful advice about the area and parking, and breakfast was just as high quality, with everything you could want. We’ll definitely return for a night next time we’re nearby.

The host was very attentive, took an interest in our stay, and was happy to book meals out and offer recommendations. The room looked fresh and was very clean. Breakfast was fantastic, with a good range of cereals, and they were happy to cater to your tastes.
