We really liked the cheerful decor at the Village House, especially the green colour and the little butterfly details. The room was clean and well maintained, the bed very comfortable, and there were plenty of outlets. The bathroom has a modern sink and shower. Our original room had a heating problem, which can happen in an old building, but someone was sent round quickly to check it. We were kindly upgraded to the king room, which we appreciated and found lovely. The hospitality was fantastic, and we'd absolutely recommend the Village House to anyone staying in Findon.

The garden was busy with a Caribbean day when we stopped by for a quick drink before a BBQ. It looked like fun, and the location is wonderful. Sarah, the land lady, was fairly friendly but a little abrupt, though I think she'd had a long day. The menu looked good. Give it a try.

Sarah, the owner, is kind and welcoming, and the food is always wonderful with an extensive menu to choose from. A real gem of a pub in the heart of Findon Village, well worth visiting. Come on, everyone, support your local pubs or lose them!

The staff were all really friendly, and the breakfast was surprisingly good during our pleasant two-night stay. The rooms are small but clean, and just right for a short visit. The mattress could be more comfortable, though it was alright for two nights.

We stayed here for our wedding and had a great time. The staff made us feel relaxed and very welcome. The rooms were lovely and have been redecorated recently, and the food was great at a very fair price for the quality. Thank you so much!
