We only stayed one night, but we’ve already decided to book this hotel whenever we’re in the area. I want to thank the gentleman on the night shift on 27 November 2025. He wore glasses, though we didn’t catch his name. My husband had just lost his mam that night, and we were both devastated. He kindly offered his condolences and sorted out the car registration after my husband forgot to do it. From our arrival, he was welcoming, always smiling, and went out of his way to help with every detail. His kindness meant a lot to us.

A quiet spot, and The Beeches next door serves good food. For a very comfortable, clean and perfectly acceptable night’s stay at a good price, this is fantastic value. It doesn’t offer high-end luxury, but that’s not what it’s trying to be. It’s just right for what it is.

We had a horrible stay. The room’s air conditioning didn’t work, and the only water we could get was £3 from a vending machine. There were several other problems, including someone else being given our room key. At breakfast, we were turned away with a child even though we’d been told not to worry about booking ahead because they weren’t busy. We were told to order Just Eat. I’d avoid this place and the Brewers Fayre.

I stayed for four nights with my partner Ibrahim, checking in Friday 19th and leaving Tuesday 23rd of this month. We’d never stayed at this Premier Inn before, even though it’s only a few miles from where I live in Wrexham. Ibrahim came down from London to be with me. I also know the Beeches pub across the road well from Sunday roasts with my family. We’re both completely blind, and the small layout was easy to navigate. Our room was on the first floor, just up the stairs and across the corridor. We could make our way across the car park to the pub, find the bar and get back to the hotel. Staff at both places were friendly and welcoming, offering help and sighted guiding when we got disoriented. We soon found our way around independently. The room was clean, spacious, comfortable and luxurious. It sometimes got warm at night, and the wall AC didn’t seem to work, but there was a good, powerful fan. We also enjoyed having tea and coffee facilities. The food and drink throughout the stay was good, and the cooked breakfasts on Monday and Tuesday were amazing. The pub staff helped us with the buffet, asking what we wanted to eat and drink and serving it so we could manage everything. My parents joined Ibrahim and me for Sunday lunch at the Beeches, which we all loved. It was his first roast dinner with my family there. Thanks to everyone at the hotel and pub for all the help and for making it such a memorable weekend. I hope to return soon. Love from Marla and Ibrahim. 💞

We picked this hotel because it was close to where we needed to be. As usual at a Premier Inn, the staff were welcoming and quick to sort out any problems. The food was tasty and nicely presented, and the restaurant, rooms and hallways were all clean and smart.
