The owner-manager was friendly and shared some great local advice. The place was very clean and quiet. At first I wasn't keen on having a separate bathroom, but it was just down the hall and only for my room. A great place to stay.

Getting in was simple: the owner sent clear instructions and gave us a fob so we could come and go whenever we needed. The staff were friendly and replied very quickly. Our room was lovely and cosy, with the heating on, a spotless bathroom, and a nice big TV with lots of channels. The location is great for travelling to York.

I booked a room at very short notice because my son was in hospital, and the host was extremely accommodating. The location was right next to the hospital and just a short walk into the city. The room was beautiful and the bed really comfy. I'd recommend it.

It's close to the city centre and just a four-minute walk from York Hospital. The room was very comfortable and clean to a good standard. I'll definitely stay again.

This is just somewhere to rest your head. The price doesn't include breakfast, and there's no parking on site. Guests are directed to a public car park five minutes' walk away. The city centre is a 15-minute walk.
