York's attractions were easy to reach on foot from Bowen House, which is in a great spot. We had a lovely stay, with comfortable rooms and a hospitality tray topped up each day. The owners were welcoming and very helpful, and breakfast was delicious. We'd happily visit again.

Breakfast was great, and the B&B was tidy, with the room cleaned every day. It's about a five-minute walk into York centre. They even put our clothes in order, which my wife wasn't keen on, though I didn't mind.

The room was comfortable and clean, and breakfast was good. Getting past the rather chilly welcome was the only awkward part: just as we came in, the lady of the house became worried about where and how we'd parked the car.

Our room was very tidy and nicely decorated, with a homely feel. The host was helpful with suggestions, and Bowen House is well placed for a weekend in York, about a ten-minute walk from the city centre.

A lovely little B&B for a short visit to York. It had everything we needed, was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. We'd stay again. Nina and Ashleigh
