Lendal Tower

The tower was a brilliant place to stay and get ready on the morning of my wedding at the nearby Hospitium in the Museum Gardens. The rooftop was perfect for having some people over the night before. I was blown away by it and highly recommend staying here.

We spent a long weekend here with friends and family to celebrate my wife’s 50th birthday, and it was amazing. The property was second to none, with the feel and look of a historic building alongside updated facilities. The location was perfect, and the photos don’t do it justice. Check-in was very easy too.

We had such a wonderful time at the Lendal Tower that we’ve already booked another stay for next year. We were there in November 2023, and the owners were helpful and accommodating. It’s close to the Minster, with lovely tea rooms nearby, and the location is ideal for shops and restaurants. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you’d need to cook meals, which was a real plus. One thing to consider is the stairs. The lift isn’t working, and the bedrooms are only accessible by stairs, so anyone who struggles with them should think about how many they’ll need to climb, especially with luggage. We can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful week in excellent accommodation, in a great location, and would happily book again. There were a few small niggles with the fixtures, fittings, and cleaning, but they’re not really worth going into here.
