The hosts were quick to respond and accommodating, and the location was fantastic. There’s no air conditioning, but we were there during warmer weather and the fans they provided worked really well. They also let us leave our bags after checkout, which helped a lot. The beds were comfy, and the place had everything we needed. Highly recommend, and thanks so much!

We’d just got married when we arrived, and the bottle of champaign and balloons waiting for us made us feel really welcome. It’s a beautiful modern apartment with a warm, inviting feel. Possibly the nicest apartment we’ve stayed in anywhere. I’d recommend it to anyone.

A welcome hamper was waiting for us, and there’s secure luggage storage available for free if you don’t want to rush off after checkout. The owners seem to have thought of everything. The place was comfortable, clean, and welcoming, with lift or stair access to every floor. It’s only a few minutes’ walk from the Minster, the Shambles, and everything else. I’ll definitely stay again next time I’m in York.

The riverside walk by Kings Staithe boat landing was just two minutes away, and we could catch a boat ride or sit in the sunshine with a pint at The Kings Arms. The apartment was lovely and modern, and had everything we needed, from milk to cooling fans in each room. The living room felt homely and relaxing, while the kitchen and bedrooms suited us perfectly. It was like a home from home. York’s centre and attractions are close by, mostly 5-10 minutes away, with great pubs, shops, and museums around us. Many thanks 😊
