Atma Island Living

We spent a week here with the whole family and loved it. Sandra and Lawrence were such gracious hosts, going out of their way to make us comfortable. The villa is a great place to switch off and enjoy island life. The trip from the airport in St George’s takes about an hour and a half. We found the Eastern Road route preferable to crossing the mountains. There aren't many shopping options near the villa, so stop at a supermarket on the way and stock up. We also recommend booking Private Chef Clerk. The meals were amazing.

It's a quiet, safe spot in a beautiful villa, just minutes from the beach and its three great bars. There are a few food choices nearby, including pizza about a 15-minute walk away, and more options along the road. We found it easier to buy groceries in the busier areas and use the well-equipped kitchen to cook or reheat food. You can also get food on the beach, just a five-minute walk away. One easy solution is the private chef, whose food was incredible. Grenada 🇬🇩 is well worth a visit. The beach photos below give you an idea of the setting.

I left Atma Island Living feeling rested and restored, and I already want to return. Sandra made delicious vegan meals for me each day, with fresh, local, organic ingredients. She and Lawrence were wonderful hosts, helping me find island treasures and arranging excursions, including less touristy spots off the beaten path. The rooms were clean, beautiful, and luxuriously appointed, and the house is just steps from Bathway Beach. I loved starting each morning on my balcony, greeting the sun over the Atlantic. I also recommend a massage with Dion, a blind therapist, and renting a private boat to visit Grenada's underwater sculptures and beaches. I enjoyed every bit of my stay.

Sandra and her staff looked after us from the airport onward. They picked us up and drove us to our outings, including the Sulfur Springs, Rum Factory, Levera, and Grande Anse Beach, which was amazing. They also made delicious vegan meals, and there's a bar and kitchen onsite. My girlfriend and I were visiting Grenada for the first time. We found Atma Island online and were drawn in by the photos. The place was clean, nicely furnished, and had lovely ocean views, with the water just steps away. We were glad we chose it and can't wait to return to explore more of the island. We'll definitely stay at Atma again. Highly recommended!
