The location makes getting around easy, with everything I needed close enough to walk to. This was my fifth stay at Deynas, and I keep returning because it’s such a lovely place. The hotel team were amazing, and the restaurant staff were kind and accommodating too.

I won’t be recommending this place to anyone I know visiting Grenada. My family kept saying they probably didn’t realize I was Grenadian because of my Canadian accent, and the pricing felt ridiculous. Last year I paid less for a meal with no bakes, so I thought I’d try it again since it wasn’t bad then. This time I was charged $25, including a bottle of water, and still got no bakes. If you’re a tourist, I’d say don’t go here.

My husband and I had a wonderful buffet breakfast. I wish I’d tried the Coca tea, so that’s for next time. I’d recommend it!

I haven’t stayed at Deynas, but I picked up takeaway from the restaurant downstairs and really enjoyed it. The portions were generous and the food had great flavour. I’ll come back on my next trip to Grenada.

Breakfast was the real deal: coconut roast bake with saltfish, a fish cake, and fried breadfruit. I also had a tall glass of golden apple juice, which was just life. I walked right up to the counter, and the price was right too.
