Relax Inn Grenada West Indies

I was lucky to find The Relaxed Inn after my flight was cancelled, when there were hardly any places left on the island. It turned out to be a great choice. The room had a lovely beach view, and the inn was conveniently close to both the airport and town. The woman at the front desk was welcoming and very helpful. When we found out the toilet wasn’t working, she moved us to another room right away, without hesitation. I really appreciated that. It was a comfortable, pleasant stay given the circumstances, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the island.

A good value, small private hotel for locals, up on the hill near the airport. The staff were patient, the beds simple and clean, and there’s an efficiency kitchen. You can buy beers at the office, and there are a couple of local hangouts nearby, including a bar that sometimes serves food and other hookups. The bus into town stops right at the hotel. I walked there from the airport, but wouldn’t recommend that unless you’re backpacking.

I was impressed as soon as I walked into my room. It’s quiet, clean, and charming, more of a homemade, comfortable place than a glamorous and pricey one. The staff are friendly, and the price is very reasonable. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a nice, clean, relaxing place to spend a few hours or a few days.

I was only staying overnight and didn’t take a photo of the room, just the balcony view. I felt at home there. The room looks out over the runway. It’s at the far end, but you can still see planes pass after takeoff and turn around after landing. There’s a little spot with a kettle and microwave. Across from the Inn is a small bar and restaurant, and a shop is just a few steps away.
