Our tour guide suggested stopping here for lunch, and I’m glad we did. The views were stunning, and the buffet was the best. Everything was well seasoned and tasty, including the lobster, rice, and vegetables. I’ll definitely come back for a few days’ stay.

The Atlantic is loud all around the property, and it really adds to the feeling of being close to nature. Each apartment is private, with modern amenities and a rustic charm. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional, and the food was great. Petite Anse Hotel’s remote setting makes it an ideal spot for peace, grounding, and relaxation. I highly recommend it, and I’m already planning another visit.

The views and location are top notch, and the two women working there deserve a lot of credit. The servers were pleasant enough, but the restaurant was nearly full with only two servers, including the bartender, so everything was extremely slow. We sat at a dirty table and eventually went to the bar just to get drinks. We might still be waiting for breakfast. We threw away our milkshakes, they were horrible. Not sure we’ll return.

Petite Anse Restaurant has been unpredictable every time I’ve gone. The food quality and taste change from visit to visit. I don’t know if they keep switching chefs, but they need to be more consistent. The service is unbelievable too. Staff aren’t attentive, and I’ve had to get up and go to the bar just to find someone for help or ask for the bill. When Sauteurs has no food available, I still come here because it’s the only decent restaurant in the area. But it feels like a last-minute food stop rather than a well-run restaurant, without the quality or atmosphere I’d expect. On Tuesday night, a friend had flown in from Trinidad and wanted a drink, so I brought her here. We took menus from the bar and sat down, but no one served us for a while, so I went to the bar to order drinks myself. I ordered wings after we got our drinks, but there were no napkins when they arrived, which isn’t acceptable for that kind of food. I had to get up again to ask for the bill, even though we were the only people there. There’s no excuse for service that slow. On my latest visit, the items in my order came out one at a time instead of together. The salted caramel brownie was disappointing and overpriced. It was listed on the bill as cheesecake, and packed with ice cream in a takeaway container, which is impractical in Grenada’s heat because it melts almost immediately. When I got home, the brownie was so gooey it tasted and felt like undercooked cookie dough batter, not a proper brownie. It was one small slice for $30 XCD. The whole experience was unacceptable. I deleted my review from two years ago, which was already negative, to post this update. Nothing has improved. They need more staff so things can run efficiently. Do better!

The hotel’s quiet setting and kind welcome made my cousin’s wedding trip memorable. Petite Anse Hotel & Restaurant hosted the ceremony very well, with lovely decorations, food, drinks, and setup. The staff were genuinely warm. My room was elegant, fully equipped, and comfortable, and everything worked. I learned that laundry is complimentary. Meals were made to order, and I enjoyed trying Grenadian dishes, though I especially liked the American choices at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There’s plenty of tranquility and scenery to enjoy, and I visited Maurice Bishop International Airport, Grand Etang National Park, Annandale Waterfall & Forest Park, Camerhogne Park, Grand Anse Beach, The Boiling House, Belmont Estate, Cacao & Coconut Trees, and saw Mona Monkeys and Leatherback Turtles, among other things. The hotel is about 1 to 1.5 hours from downtown. If I visit Grenada again, I’d choose a place closer to town, since I prefer to be within walking distance or at most 30 minutes away.
