The restaurant’s setting is unforgettable: it’s in a section of the Rabati Castle tunnel that’s over 500 years old, giving it a magical, historic feel. The service was impeccable, friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Every detail made for a perfect dinner, and the food was delicious, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Absolutely outstanding experience. Highly recommended!

The owner was brilliant and helped us with everything, even questions about our journey. We had one of the best dinners of our trip, with great, tasty homemade food. Thanks for a lovely evening in Akhaltsikhe. We’ll definitely come back if we find ourselves in Georgia again!

I ordered a few meals before trying anything, but the lovely atmosphere had me sure they’d be gooood. An hour later, I can confirm the food was very good and tasty: Kupati and Chizhi bizhi. Christina, a friend of the family, gave me a pleasant chat with information and suggestions about the area, local wine and food, and traffic in Georgia. A very nice family restaurant and bar. Thanks to both of you for a really pleasant evening!

I stopped in after visiting Rabati castle, only went to the restaurant, and didn’t expect the food to be so good. Everything I ordered was fresh and just made, straight from the oven. I liked it so much that I asked them to cook some extra dishes for me to take home, and they packed it all up well. The staff were nice, and the food was super delicious. I recommend this restaurant to everyone.

We went to the restaurant only, though Old Rabati is also a hotel. Lunch was nice: vegetable soup, an omelet, and another Georgian specialty, with warm Georgian bread and a cup of tea. The waitresses were kind and helpful, and English is spoken. It was a bit expensive for Georgia, though, at 20 lari per person, around 13 euros.
