After you book, Inna, the landlady from Ukraine, contacts you to ask for extra money. She wants a $150 โinsurance depositโ first, which she says will be returned at the end of your stay. She also asks for separate payments for internet, water, electricity, video surveillance, and street garbage removal ๐คฆโโ๏ธ. None of these charges are in the listing, and they go against the usual booking.com standards and the platformโs rules, since they arenโt disclosed there. I found the landladyโs behavior unethical and poorly mannered. Given the booking.com reviews mentioning a damp, smelly bathroom and bad customer service, Iโd choose a better-rated apartment with a more ethical owner instead.

The apartment was clean and really cozy, with lovely views. We enjoyed our vacation there and would definitely book the same place again.

The room was clean, and the view, coffee, tea, wine, working Wi-Fi, and air conditioning were all taken care of. Those little things made it easy to get a good rest. Iโm happy with my stay and would recommend these apartments ๐๐
