Enjoy The Hostel

Pablo was kind and really helpful, and I’d happily stay here again. It’s right in the centre of Batumi, close to just about everything you might want to see. The amenities are basic but clean, and I was able to do laundry for a reasonable price.

The balcony was being used to store disgusting stuff, and the sofa and couch were really uncomfortable. There was an old, broken TV, and dead cockroaches in the fridge and all over the place, especially inside the wooden dining table 🤮 There were no blankets or decent pillows, and the hostel was freezing in winter. No heater, either, unless you paid extra for a small one, and even then you might never get it. There were never any tissues in the women's bathroom. The owner was disrespectful, and most of the Google photos are fake. This place needs to be made into a proper hostel.

Sam was super friendly and always took time to explain where I could go and what I should do. The dorm beds were comfortable and clean, and the A/C worked well. The toilets and showers were spotless, with daily cleaning. Definitely recommend!

The location was fine, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here. I spent one night after arriving in Batumi and found a tiny apartment with eight beds, a living room and one private room with a balcony. There wasn’t much privacy. It was around +11 outside, and the apartment felt just as cold. The heating didn’t work, the air conditioner wouldn’t run in heat mode, and the blankets were only thin covers.
