This is a guesthouse with a shared kitchen, not a hotel, and you can still make a good meal there. There are lots of cafes nearby, and the sea is only a 5-7-minute walk. The hosts can arrange barbecues and excursions, help with shopping, and suggest places to visit or eat. It’s a friendly, welcoming house with pleasant hosts and fun neighbors to talk with. I’m staying here for the third time with my kids. The one thing that bothers us is that a neighbor sometimes smokes, but that can be sorted out.

You can hear a mountain stream from this beautiful balcony, a nice spot to sit and eat. The hotel sits back from a busy, noisy highway, yet it’s only 5 minutes from the sea. The mountains come right up to the house and the view is stunning. Rooms are spacious, with new comfortable beds and private bathrooms. Everything was clean and cozy, and the hosts were attentive and welcoming. The kitchen is new and well equipped, with plenty of dishes. Small cafes nearby serve delicious food, and the internet never let me down. I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it.

Our first visit turned into three days that felt like staying with family. Roman met us and drove us to the airport. Lenochka is a charming ball of energy, and the children are polite and well behaved. Dianochka became a real friend to our son, and they were so sad to part that it took a while to calm them down. We’re already looking forward to next summer with this lovely family. Thanks, too, for pointing us to a cafe with delicious, varied food, including European dishes. We’ve stayed in several places in Gonio, so we have plenty to compare, and this is definitely the best mini hotel. The location is excellent, just 5 minutes from the sea and away from the international highway. If sleeping peacefully at night matters, I wouldn’t pick a beachfront place. Batumi city buses 16 and 17 run to Batumi, 12 km, and the Turkish border, 4 km, for 0.4 lari. All the buses are air-conditioned. It feels like being in the city, but in a very quiet area. The house is cozy, the rooms are comfortable and immaculately clean, including the bathroom, and there’s a wonderful terrace. A real banana palm and a kiwi tree with berries grow in the yard.

The veranda is large, and the room is comfortable with its own bathroom and a kitchen that has everything you need. Prices are reasonable, and it’s not far from the sea.

Everything’s clean and tidy, with what you need for a comfortable stay. The hosts are fantastic, and the sea is a five-minute walk away. We’ll come back next year.
