The staff were polite, helpful, patient, and positive, and the views from the building are really good. But everything else feels cheaply made. The building looks good outside, while inside there’s plastic everywhere, low ceilings, and small rooms. You also have to pay to use the elevator. When we arrived, the room wasn’t ready and there weren’t enough towels. They need to understand the difference between a normal room with a view and a panoramic room.
The building and hotel staff were fine, but room quality seems to depend mostly on the owner. I’d book directly with an owner. Hotel rooms often aren’t the best quality, and you might get a random floor.
On my trip to #Batumi, I spent two nights on the 35th floor of block A in this 50-story tower. Seeing the city from so high up was an interesting experience. If you want hotel services and a sea view from your window, famous Orbi City hotel apartment could be a good option, with a chance to look out over the city from one of Batumi’s tallest towers. Its Booking website rating is above 9, and the price is reasonable. You don’t need to pay in advance to book, so it can be a good choice.
Very poor management. They were rude and told us to cancel our Booking.com reservation, then pay twice as much by cash or transfer, so there’d be no bill. Really unprofessional. The staff handling the cleaning were very polite, though.
We could see the Black Sea from our terrace, and the place is very close to it. The apartment has air conditioning and a kitchen. One odd thing is that using the lift costs extra, though it didn't affect us because we had an unlimited card. Worth asking about.
