Shalva and his family were lovely hosts. It’s a family-friendly whole house with everything we needed, including a kitchen, washing machine, and stove. Batumi is a bit of a distance away, but buses, marshrutkas, and online taxis can get you there and back.

The owners are so nice, and you really get Georgian hospitality here. It’s suitable for coming with kids, and there’s parking in the front yard. The botanical garden and a clean beach are nearby, while Batumi is about a 15-minute drive away.

This is a quiet spot for a family holiday, not somewhere to come for clubs, discos, or a five-star hotel experience. Iveria and Lia are warm, attentive hosts who respond quickly to requests, and they provide free rides to and from the airport and train station. Breakfasts were varied and featured local food. The sea was warm and clean, with a large beach about 800 meters away, and nearby cafes served tasty food at affordable prices. The guesthouse is on the outskirts of Batumi.
