Hotel Victoria-Panorama

The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was very good, and the city views were nice. There’s no elevator, so your room could be on the fourth floor, and the hotel has no private parking. They also lock the door at midnight, so you can’t come or go again until morning. Still, it’s an excellent place.

Hotel Panorama Victoria was the highlight of our trip to Georgia. The owners made sure we had a first-class stay. They met us in the city center and carried our bags up the hill and into our suite, which had a balcony and incredible views from both floors. We had a superb dinner there, with friendly, attentive staff, and the complimentary breakfast was the best of our trip. The receptionist suggested the cable car to the upper part of the park. She also advised us to wait until the next morning and take the first old tram to resort bakuriani. The weather was perfect, but clouds and fog came in quickly as we descended, blocking the view for travelers who made the trip after us. We highly recommend visiting.

It’s one of the best hotels I came across in Georgia. It isn’t luxurious, or even close, but it was clean and comfortable, and everything in the room worked perfectly. Breakfast was decent enough, though not great. The staff were accommodating and always smiling, and it felt like being with part of your family. The receptionist spoke very good, clear English. Honestly, she was the only receptionist in Georgia so far who truly smiled at me :) As far as I know, all the rooms have the same great view, especially on the second or third floors. Just expect a safe, clean, warm and accommodating place. It’s a great hotel if you want to explore Borjomi, rather than spend your time watching TV or looking for a spa.

The room and bathroom were clean, and the mattress was comfortable. The pillow was huge and much too high for me, though someone else might like it. I loved the fancy terrace and its panoramic view. Breakfast was wonderful, with European staples alongside homemade jam, olives, potato pastries, and curd cookies.
