Gudauri Twins Apartment

We spent six nights in an apartment. The water pressure was excellent, and the location is handy for the slopes, although you need to stay alert while walking. The soundproofing was awful: we could hear everything in the hall and nearby rooms. The room was cold, and it took three days of asking before we got extra pillows and a blanket. The receptionist said she couldn’t help; eventually they brought a blanket and heater, which made things much more comfortable. Cleaning was poor too, with a pile of other people’s hair on the floor, stray eyelashes on the bedspread, and hair on the bed linens. There weren’t basic supplies like a sponge, dish soap, extra toilet paper, or napkins. The kitchen cabinet doors were awkward to open, so you had to crawl along the wall. The furniture and finishes felt cheap, and moisture in the hallway was making the floor swell. At $100 a night, this is hard to accept. It might feel less bad at $30.
