West Inn Georgia Hotel

The rooms were spacious and very clean, and everyone on staff was kind and welcoming. We felt comfortable throughout our stay, and the food was delicious. Highly recommended.

The room and bathroom were large and clean, but that was about all I liked. It’s a long way from the city center down a muddy road, with no shops or restaurants nearby. The hotel was noisy at night, and the only elevator made strange, scary sounds. There’s no luggage rack and just two hangers in the cupboard. We also had no tissue box in the room and were told to go down to the restaurant for some, which was odd. The staff didn’t understand or speak English. Dinner was frustrating: we asked for omelettes and toast, but the cook rudely said they had no butter, then later said it was in the freezer. At breakfast the next morning there was no butter or cold cuts, and we had to ask for fried eggs. Some of the grapes served were rotten, and they hadn’t been cleaned. I wish I’d taken a picture. How is this a four-star hotel?

We were able to extend our stay after getting the last available room. It was clean and modern-looking, though a bit small, and had a bidet in the bathroom, which is much needed for Muslim visitors. The poolside was great for relaxing, sunbathing, or swimming, and the area felt secure, with police passing through now and then. The food and breakfast were good. I can’t rate everything as a Muslim, but the halal dishes they offer were great, and breakfast had a few halal options too. I recommend staying here.

Breakfast could use an update or a little more variety, but the rest of our stay at Hotel West Inn Georgia was excellent. The staff were friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable, and everything seemed well maintained. The location worked perfectly for us, and the service went beyond what we expected. Highly recommended for a pleasant, comfortable stay in kutaisi.
