Maya is experienced with guests and very hospitable, and the hotel itself is really good. The restaurant could use work, especially the service. The staff there came across as rough and weren't as friendly as restaurant staff should be.
My mother-in-law is 71, and I hurried up the steps to ask the three women sitting there smoking if she could use a bathroom. They were extremely rude. I tried to explain politely that it was an emergency, but the response only got ruder. We won't stay here.
