The food was all home-cooked and fantastic, and there’s a lovely range of local wines to try. The gardens are beautifully cared for, with a pool too, and the area around the place is gorgeous. There’s even a small shop and bakery at the end of the road. We came across this family-run spot by chance while riding the Silk Road route by motorcycle. It feels like a hidden gem, but it’s still easy to reach. The hosts were attentive, and the younger family members spoke English. We stayed for two nights. While we were there, a mixed group of motorcyclists arrived after a guided tour. A really great place.

The fresh traditional mtsvida was the best meal we had in Georgia, even after ten days of eating well. The food is superb, and the hotel has large, clean rooms. Even if you don’t need a room, take a detour for the meal. They’ll also show you around the family wine cellar. We had a great experience and will be back.

The staff made our little birthday getaway feel special. They were so kind and attentive, and went out of their way to make sure we were looked after. The manager is incredible, and the chef has a fantastic touch, even turning a simple salad into a treat. I was pleasantly surprised by how cozy the place was and by its lovely facilities. The service was excellent, and we left very happy. We’ll definitely return. If you want to feel the Georgian soul, this place opens its own to you.

I didn’t stay at the hotel, but I did visit the winery. I got to taste all their wines and pick one to drink or buy. The food was really tasty and went perfectly with the wine. The staff were friendly, spoke English, and told me lots about local history.

We came for a wine tasting yesterday afternoon and wound up staying for seven hours because we were having so much fun with Parna and Giorgi. The wine was great, and we also tried a delicious soup, mushrooms with tarragon, and khachpuri. It was very affordable, and the hosts were kind and welcoming.
