The owner asked us at check-in to cancel through the site where we'd booked, saying it would lower the price. I suspect this is deliberate, since cancelling that way could leave you without support from the booking service. I strongly advise against staying here. The listing photos are old and no longer show the property's current state. There are now two apartments, both with ceilings affected by leaks, water stains, peeling plaster, and mold. We found ants in the kitchen and stains on the sheets. Water outages seem common in Kutaisi, but this property has no backup tank on the roof, so the toilet can be unusable for a whole day. There are much nicer places in Kutaisi for a similar price, with more than comfortable conditions. Stay away from this one.

The apartment matched the pictures and was very spacious, and the host was extremely kind and helpful. You can walk to everything from this very good location. The price for what you get is good, so I definitely recommend it. The downside is the noise at night. A neighbor has five dogs or more, and there are stray dogs too, and they bark all night. The host can't do anything about it.
